Behavior Health Counselor (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)

Position Summary

As a Licensed Master's Level Clinician, you will provide psychotherapy, behavioral health assessments, and supportive counseling services to residents in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and evaluations
• Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain patient progress and adjust treatment interventions as appropriate
• Collaborate with facility staff, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)
• Participate in ongoing clinical consultations and professional development opportunities
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations and standards

Qualifications

• Active Florida license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
• New graduates nearing licensure are encouraged to apply
• Strong clinical assessment and psychotherapy skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to work independently and effectively manage a flexible schedule
• Experience working with older adults or within long-term care settings is preferred but not required
