    Responsibilities

    • Partner with school administrators, teachers, teaching assistants, aides, related service providers, and families to develop individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports.
    • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify the function of behavior and develop effective intervention strategies.
    • Design, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with student needs and educational goals.
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to evaluate student progress and make data-driven recommendations for intervention adjustments.
    • Develop practical, classroom-based behavioral supports that promote student independence, engagement, and successful participation in school routines.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, modeling, and performance feedback to classroom staff to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral strategies and interventions.
    • Collaborate with school teams to support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure behavioral programming aligns with educational objectives.
    • Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings to present student progress, behavioral recommendations, and ongoing support needs.
    • Maintain consistent communication with Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Managers, Assistant Directors, and Directors regarding student progress, consultation needs, and service delivery.
    • Develop and facilitate professional development workshops and staff trainings on behavior management, data collection, de-escalation, classroom strategies, and related behavioral topics as requested.
    • Complete timely and accurate documentation, including progress reports, consultation notes, behavioral assessments, and data summaries.
    • Maintain confidentiality of student records and protected information in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, and company policies.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and monthly collaborative meetings to continuously strengthen clinical knowledge and practice.
    • Maintain professionalism, ethical standards, and a solution-focused approach in all interactions with students, families, district personnel, and colleagues.
    • Travel between assigned school districts to provide on-site consultation and support.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Required Background

    • NYS Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance
    • Master’s degree in one of the following: Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Educational/Health/Human Services
    • BCBA Certification (preferred)
    • Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families
    • Bilingual is a plus
