Behavior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Implements Applied Behavior Analytic services across outpatient and inpatient settings within the medical center.
• Delivers outpatient intensive ABA services, as well as inpatient consultation and direct services.
• Serves patients across the age span, with the primary population being adolescents and adults.
• Trains staff, community based staff, and caregivers on all interventions.
• May supervise field work and practicum placement students.

Requirements

• Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education or related field and 3 years of experience working with individuals with autism and related disorders or developmental disabilities with comorbid mental health needs across community, school, or other clinical settings required.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with key stakeholders across a number of different hospital and community settings preferred.
• Ability to approach situations with flexibility preferred.
• Ability to work with individuals with varying levels of need and complexity preferred.
• Comfortable working with pilot and novel programs to create new opportunities for integrated service models preferred.

Skills

• NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) licensure or limited permit upon hire required.
