Responsibilities
- Implements Applied Behavior Analytic services across outpatient and inpatient settings within the medical center.
- Delivers outpatient intensive ABA services, as well as inpatient consultation and direct services.
- Serves patients across the age span, with the primary population being adolescents and adults.
- Trains staff, community based staff, and caregivers on all interventions.
- May supervise field work and practicum placement students.
Requirements
- Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education or related field and 3 years of experience working with individuals with autism and related disorders or developmental disabilities with comorbid mental health needs across community, school, or other clinical settings required.
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively with key stakeholders across a number of different hospital and community settings preferred.
- Ability to approach situations with flexibility preferred.
- Ability to work with individuals with varying levels of need and complexity preferred.
- Comfortable working with pilot and novel programs to create new opportunities for integrated service models preferred.
Skills
- NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) licensure or limited permit upon hire required.
