In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, enriching, and stimulating environment for toddlers. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children, a patient demeanor, and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the classroom. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.Provide individualized support to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.Encourage children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through hands-on activities and positive interaction.Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.Help supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions.Collaborate with other staff members to support classroom operations and maintain a clean, organized space.Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and milestones.Assist with record-keeping and documentation of developmental observations.Implement classroom routines and contribute to a structured, consistent environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education is a plus).Previous experience working with toddlers or in a daycare setting is preferred but not required.Strong communication skills and a nurturing, patient approach.Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from the lead teacher.Knowledge of child development and early childhood education practices.CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
