Before and Afterschool Part Time Substitute Educator (Banning)
What We're Looking For
Right At School is seeking mission-driven individuals who want to help foster a love of learning while providing a safe environment for children to explore and grow. Ideal candidates will have outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills, works well in a team environment, at least 6 months of experience working with children under 13 years of age in a group setting (preferred), must be 18 years or older with a Highschool diploma or equivalent, able to lift 25lbs, drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living, and meet state-specific requirements such as LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, and a Health Certificate with a Negative TB Test from a physician.
Responsibilities
- Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation
- Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
- Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
- Excellently communicate with varied audiences including children, parents, staff and school personnel
- Makes regular meetings with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

Pay
$20 to $22 per hour (based on education, experience)
Schedule
On site Schedule: Before and Afterschool 6:00am-9:00am & 2:30pm-6pm (Hours may vary per site)
