About the Role
Early Childhood Educator supporting elementary-aged children during out-of-school time on school grounds.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers
- Implement curriculum tailored to individual children's needs
- Create a safe, nurturing environment for learning and play
- Partner with parents to ensure quality care
- Collaborate with staff and leadership to meet enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
- Build positive relationships with families, staff, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- 2-3 years early childhood education experience preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or NAEYC candidacy
- State trainer approval preferred
- Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain
- Physically able to lift 40 lbs and engage in activities
- Fluent in English for effective communication
