Before and After School Program Teacher

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers
• Model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement curriculum tailored to each child's needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning
• Partner with parents to ensure quality care and education
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Build relationships with families, educators, licensing authorities, and community partners

Qualifications & Skills

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy
• PREFERRED: 2-3 years early childhood experience, Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, state trainer approval
• Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and state-specific qualifications
• Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors
• Proficiency in English communication

Compensation & Benefits

• Range from $13.35 to $28.00 hourly
