About the role

This position is within the Extended Childcare Services department at Cherry Creek Schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and care for children in the extended childcare program
• Implement daily activities and lesson plans
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities
• Follow all district policies and state licensing requirements

Requirements

• Must meet all state licensing requirements for childcare providers
• Ability to pass a background check
• Availability to work scheduled hours during the extended childcare program
• Physical ability to actively supervise children and respond to emergencies

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a group setting
• Knowledge of child development principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
