Before and After School Group Leader

About the role

AlphaBEST Education is hiring for their Before & After School Programs for the 2026/2027 school year. Interviews will be held on-site on July 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at AlphaBEST's national hiring event.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
• Ensure child safety at all times and follow established procedures.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Create an inclusive environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Experience working in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Qualifications

As an Early Learning Professional, you should enjoy working in a structured, high-energy environment, take child safety seriously, and be flexible, reliable, and ready to assist wherever needed.

Skills

Knowledge of child development, psychology, social work, recreation, or youth development is beneficial but not required.

Schedule

7:00-8:30am & 3:00-6:00pm
