Before and After School Group Leader

Job Summary

We're hiring for our Before & After School Programs at Brass Castle and Port Colden Schools for the 2026/2027 school year. Interviews will be held on July 16th at Hopatcong Middle School.

Pay

$17.00/hour

Hours

7:00-9:00am & 3:00-6:00pm

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

Qualifications

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team. This role is ideal for students studying Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Recreation, or Youth Development.
