Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students during before and after school hours.
- Assist in planning and implementing enrichment activities for students.
- Ensure students are engaged in appropriate activities and follow safety procedures.
- Monitor student behavior and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate with parents regarding students’ participation and any concerns.
- Aid in maintaining a clean and organized program space.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Regularly required to communicate effectively.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and handling objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasional lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
- Operates in a professional school environment.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and instructional materials.
- Noise level is typically moderate, but can be higher during student-centered activities or events.
- Occasional local travel for school-related functions may be required.
- This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
