Before & After School Site Director/Early Learning Professional - Flexible Schedule for Educators & College Students

Malden, MA. Part-time leadership role supporting students during the school day.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations including schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Ensure child safety is the top priority at all times
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor site team, providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
