About the role
The Site Director role offers the opportunity to lead a meaningful before- and after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. This role is ideal for educators with experience in teaching or classroom leadership, youth programs staff supervision or team leadership, and a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
- Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
- Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
- Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
- Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
- Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
- Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
- Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
Requirements
- Must meet one of the following qualifications per CO licensing regulations: completed a bachelor's degree (in a related field), 2 years of college education and 3 months (455 hours) of satisfactory and verifiable experience, 3 years of satisfactory and verifiable experience, along with 6+ semester hours or college education, OR 40 clock hours of training in coursework applicable to school-age children.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
Qualifications
- Completed a bachelor's degree (in a related field, such as recreation, outdoor education, elementary or early childhood education, or a subject in the human service field)
- Current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II, version 3.0

Pay
$20.25 - $23.25 per hour (depending on education)
