Beer Technician

About the role

The Beer Technician is responsible for maintaining and managing the brewery’s brewing equipment, ensuring smooth production processes, and collaborating with other departments to optimize efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate brewery equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with brewers and other technicians to troubleshoot issues and improve production techniques.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Document all maintenance activities and report any issues to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar technical role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with brewery equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using common tools and equipment found in a brewery setting.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
