This position will cover the Onondaga County territory.

About the role

Our Merchandisers play a key role at T.J. Sheehan. After beer is sold and delivered to customer accounts, Merchandisers stock, rotate, and properly display our products to ensure consumers can easily shop and enjoy them. In this role, you’ll work independently, be accountable for your goals, and gain the skills and experience needed to advance to a Sales Representative position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all product is rotated and code policy is followed
• Display all products according to Company standards
• Install and maintain permanent and paper Point of Sale material
• Organize and execute floor displays, window neons, and banners at all accounts
• Organize and execute cooler resets according to Company standards
• Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in your assigned area
• Be on-premise for every shift
• Develop and maintain effective customer relations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Previous experience working in retail
• Ability to fulfill the physical demands of the job
• Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
• Flexibility with schedule, as days can vary
• Valid driver’s license with active auto insurance
• Ability and willingness to work independently
