Beekeeping Educator & Presenter

Presenter and Event Host

• Deliver live, interactive presentations about bees, pollination, and sustainability at sites where BeehHomes are placed.
• Audiences range from schoolchildren to corporate teams to community groups.
• Natural teaching ability, simplifying complex ideas, and engaging crowds.

Hive Technician

• Provide hands-on care and maintenance for BeehHomes on a flexible, as-needed basis.
• This includes hive inspections, colony health checks, and occasional installation support.

What We Need From Everyone

• Hands-on beekeeping experience required.
• Ownership or management of hives or professional maintenance experience.
• Comfortable working around live bee colonies.
• Reliable, professional, and self-directed.
• Based in or near the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Valid U.S. work authorization.

Presenter Track Additional Strengths

• Experience teaching, presenting, or leading groups.
• Adaptable delivery to any audience, from kids to executives.
• Passion for bees, sustainability, or environmental science.
• Background in education, environmental programs, or science communication.

Compensation and Engagement

• Independent Contractor (1099).
• Part-time and project-based competitive pay based on services performed, location, and scope of work.
• Additional compensation available for installs, honey harvests, events, and specialty services.
