Beekeeper or Assistant Beekeeper (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage honeybee colonies to ensure optimal health and productivity for pollination.
• Monitor hive conditions and address issues such as pests, diseases, and queen health.
• Transport and set up hives for pollination assignments in orchards.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of hives.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet pollination targets and timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of hive activities and conditions.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial beekeeping experience (3+ years preferred).
• Experience with pollination.
• Knowledge of hive management, pest control, and bee health.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions carrying up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Able to accurately and timely clock in/out working hours in a cell phone app.
