Become a Friend
About the Role
Friends are a vital part of the work of GOOD NEWS for Everyone! This ministry has been greatly helped and blessed over many years by individuals who assist through regular prayer and financial support. A substantial proportion of donations from Friends is used to purchase Scriptures for needy countries around the world where people cannot afford to buy their own.
Friends also share in the ministry within the UK by purchasing copies of Friends Testaments and engaging in personal witnessing. Many thousands of these Testaments are distributed each year as Friends introduce others to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Responsibilities
- Engage in regular prayer for the ministry and its mission.
- Support the work financially, if possible, though this is not a requirement.
- Purchase and distribute Friends Testaments as part of personal witnessing.
- Stay informed about local, national, and international news and testimonies through the provided materials.
Benefits
- Receive a bi-annual magazine and a Daily Prayer Diary.
- Stay updated with local, national, and international news, including testimonies of lives changed through the ministry.
- Be part of a network covering every area of the country, with support from your local branch.
Testimonies
“I have purchased Friends Testaments from you previously and use them when people tell me they have difficult circumstances. I can introduce them to the One who can help them and give them a Testament to read. Please send me more.” — Bill
“These little Friends Testaments are so useful to carry around as we never know when God will put someone in our path!” — Anne
“I'm in year seven and a couple of months ago we were given the red 'New Testament and Psalms’. I looked into the 'where to find help' page and I found exactly what I was feeling. Even though I hate to admit it, I was close to suicide, but it really did help. When I felt like I had nowhere to turn and nobody to speak to, I had God.” — Sarah
