Responsibilities
- Complete assigned repairs from work orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct road tests and use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to evaluate vehicle systems and components.
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair various vehicle systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, and HVAC.
- Work closely with the Service Advisor to keep customers updated on necessary repairs and provide accurate time estimates for any additional work.
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Service Technician experience required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- ASE or other OEM Certification required. (Eligible for transfer towards Ford Certification).
- Mid-level technician skills, with experience in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise work.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and experience using computerized diagnostic tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with basic computer proficiency.
- A upbeat, team-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous learning.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, ever-changing work setting.
- Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies, tools, and repair procedures.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and a history of safe driving.
