Beauty Stock Associate - Dior Beaute, Herald Square - Part Time

About the Role

The Vendor Paid Stock Colleague is responsible for all functions related to the flow of new merchandise for the brand, as well as fulfillment and other operational tasks. This role ensures the smooth processing of merchandise, maintains stockroom organization, and supports the sales floor with replenishment and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient in POS and MPOS systems, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers using devices to shop and compare.
• Complete the general shipment process in accordance with productivity standards and ensure floor readiness.
• Assist the CSX Manager in the movement of case line assortment for new product and season changes.
• Assist in replenishment of stock onto the sales floor and participate in the inventory process.
• Maintain stockroom organization, housekeeping, and process damages, transfers, and return-to-vendor merchandise.
• Maintain high customer readiness standards by delivering a clean, neat, and easy-to-shop store environment.
• Follow shortage programs and procedures as they pertain to the receiving function.
• Adhere to Asset Protection and inventory control and compliance procedures.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Qualifications

• No specific education or experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing/walking around the store or department.
• Reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision, and climbing ladders.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld electronic equipment.
• Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
