About the role

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will focus on creating a memorable shopping experience for customers by focusing on one primary objective: helping customers through their beauty experience. This includes recommending additional and complimentary products, informing customers about current promotions and events, setting up advertising displays, arranging merchandise, and ensuring customers are enrolled in the Loyalty program.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and a desire to help customers achieve their beauty goals. Training and support will be provided by Sally Beauty to ensure success in this role.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of beauty products and services.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Working conditions involve some physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities, and occasional exposure to irritant chemicals. The position also involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines.
