- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up to date on current trends and promotions
- Focus on the customer - offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating friendly, personal conversations
- Maintain a shoppable space by maintaining the counter and sales floor, refreshing signage and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves as needed
- Share our Loyalty program benefits, make sure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank-you
Essential Physical Requirements
- Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Reaching, including above eye level
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions
Who You Are
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to: Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Build lasting client relationships by offering expert advice, conducting product demonstrations, and providing tailored consultations
- Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools to promote offers and product launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through ongoing training and vendor education
- Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience
