Beauty Advisor

About the Role

To carry out all functions necessary in providing exceptional customer service, suggesting products to customers, and merchandising in the beauty department. To perform all beauty-related duties delegated by the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers who enter the beauty department.
• Develop relationships with customers to promote repeat business and build sales.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Maintain knowledge of specific vendor products and services to help customers select the best options.
• Suggest additional products and services to customers.
• Obtain all communication relative to the department from the Store Manager.
• Provide personalized service and build relationships with customers during store visits and through follow-up contact.
• Stock deliveries in the cosmetic department.
• Manage overstock and regularly carried pre-packs to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Order product for seasonal times of the year.
• Complete planograms and updates, ensuring correct planogram size/version.

Requirements

• Ability to meet or exceed sales and customer service standards.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Goal-driven with an ability to multi-task.
• Available to work a flexible retail schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
• Ability to perform all tasks listed under job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $22.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Anticipated weekly hours: 40.
