Beautician (Skilled Nursing Facility)

About the role

The Meadows on University seeks a licensed cosmetologist to enhance the appearance, self-esteem, and overall presentation of its residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of hair care services including shampooing, cutting, coloring, highlighting, and styling.
• Maintain basic safety standards and hygienic measures according to state guidelines.
• Keep the beauty shop clean and hygienic at all times.
• Build a rapport with residents through recommendations, meaningful conversation, and basic knowledge of current beauty industry trends.
• Log all residents serviced and provide to the facility.
• Provide an approved rates list.

Requirements

• Licensed by the State of North Dakota in cosmetology.
• Proof of Liability Insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience as a beautician or barber.
• Prior experience in a healthcare facility preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Geriatric/Healthcare experience (Preferred).
• 3 years of Cosmetology experience (Preferred).

Skills

• Ability to commute to Fargo, ND.
