Beautician/Hairstylist

Two days per week, $16.00 per hour plus 40% commission.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes resident’s hair and questions resident to determine their hairdressing preference.
• Washes, dyes, tints hair based on residents’ instructions.
• Styles hair by blowing, cutting, trimming and tapering.
• Cleans, shapes and polishes fingernails.
• Makes and confirms hairdressing appointments and coordinates wheelchair transportation for resident through Transportation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Valid cosmetology license with at least six months related experience.
• Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
