About the role
Westwood Post Acute is seeking a Beautician/Hair Stylist Contractor to assist our patients in maintaining their hair health and appearance.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes resident's hair and asks questions to determine their hairdressing preferences.
- Washes, dyes, perms, tints, bleaches, or curls/waves hair based on residents' instructions.
- Styles hair by blowing, cutting, trimming, and tapering.
- Makes and confirms hairdressing appointments and coordinates transportation through nursing staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Valid cosmetology license with at least six months related experience.
- Previous experience in healthcare or service-related setting preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Must pass a background check.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
