Bearing Maintenance - ADL

Responsibilities

• Assemble Chocks by installing bearings and wear liners as needed for all mill rolls
• Utilize overhead cranes and mobile equipment for various tasks
• Inspect, breakdown, clean and reassemble chocks/bearings
• Input data into RSMS for tracking maintenance intervals and bearing life
• Support chockers with maintenance of chocks and roll assemblies
• Effectively work with Supervisor to implement Best Practices

Requirements

• Proven track record in Safety
• Excellent communication skills and experience
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with high levels of responsibility and decision making
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Observant, attention to details and accuracy
• Must be self-motivated and possess a strong desire for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Overtime and weekends may be required
• Preferred: Strong computer skills, Previous Bearing Experience, Basic welding and machining experience
