Maintenance Bearing and Seal Maintenance in Industrial Laundry Equipment

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance intervals for drum bearings and rear shaft seals to extend their service life.
• Identify early signs of bearing and seal failure, such as noise during the wash phase, increased vibration during extraction, and discoloration of grease.
• Perform planned seal and bearing replacements as part of scheduled overhauls.
• Inspect and replace worn shaft surfaces to ensure proper seal performance.

Requirements

• Understanding of bearing and seal construction and operation.
• Experience with grease selection and application in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Education in mechanical engineering or related field.
