Beach Italian Ice Cart Attendant (Seasonal)

About the role

Under general supervision, performs customer service work in the concessions operations on the beach and Beach Services warehouse facility. Work involves working closely with the Concession Manager and selling concessions on the beach. Work as backup for Beach Rental Attendant as needed. Reports to the Concession Manager.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Concession Manager
• Sell concessions on the beach
• Work as backup for Beach Rental Attendant as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Experience in customer service related field preferred
• Must have reliable transportation to get from Beach Services warehouse to the beach

Physical Requirements

• Ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort
• Typically involves some combination of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting or carrying objects up to 40 pounds
• Pushing and/or pulling of wheeled beach carts and materials weighing up to 150 pounds
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions on the oceanfront
