Be a Virtual Pet Detective - Help Reunite Lost Pets from the Comfort of Your Home!
Description
Best Friends Animal Society is on a mission to end the killing of cats and dogs in America's shelters. They are seeking remote volunteers to help reunite lost pets with their families through online sleuthing. As a Virtual Pet Reunification Investigator, you will:
- Be assigned a shelter and the surrounding community.
- Review the shelter’s page for lost pets.
- Search social media for a match.
- Encourage anyone with a lost or found pet to use PetcoLoveLost.org to increase visibility.
Only 1-2 hours per week of your detective work could be the reason a pet makes it home.
Qualifications
Volunteers must live in the U.S. Black, Indigenous, People of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals are strongly encouraged to volunteer.
