BD Retail Operator - Temporary

About the role

This position is responsible for the preparation of product according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prep orders: attach hang tags, UPC stickers, fold garments according to type and customer specifications, bag, inspect, apply stickers, tags, or any other special attachment as required.
• Pack orders: secure or construct supplies including cases, end caps, pallets, and other supplies according to customer and company specifications.
• Fill ship cases or end caps with specified number of garments or raw balls to match customer specifications and apply stickers or labels as required.
• Place covers on merchandisers or end caps as needed.
• Visually check garments as they are packed for correct labeling, bagging, or defects.
• Palletize product, including wrapping all full pallets before they leave the Retail area.
• Electronically print case labels to be applied to finished product assigned to the retail line.
• Release labeled cases to auto tape machine (may be required to use manual tape machine).
• Replenish materials as needed to complete the job.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to do simple arithmetic.
• Ability to use precision instruments such as staplers, wrapping equipment, and computer terminals.

Qualifications

0 - 3 months of related work experience.
