About the role

A Retail Sales Associate is responsible for serving customers throughout their visit to the store, from greeting to checkout.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by greeting them and offering assistance
• Assist customers by escorting them directly to racks and counters, and/or suggesting items
• Advise customers by providing accurate information on products
• Help customers make selections by building confidence through suggestions and opinions
• Accept payments by totaling purchases and processing gift cards, credit cards, or room charging
• Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
• Set up and display products and merchandise throughout the store
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the store and merchandise
• Help maintain accurate inventory records

Qualifications

• You enjoy providing outstanding customer service, meeting new people, and reconnecting with familiar customers
• You take pride in exceeding customer expectations; previous customer service experience is a plus
• You are approachable, hospitable, and communicate in a clear and friendly manner
• You have a passion for sharing your enthusiasm for Boyne's products and services
• You thrive in a close-knit team environment and value supporting fellow team members
• You are flexible, eager to learn, and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• You are physically capable of lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds
• You have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and comfort handling payment transactions
