About the role
The BCI Data Science team develops the algorithms and signal-processing pipelines that lie at the heart of brain–computer interface (BCI) technology. We are a multidisciplinary group of data scientists, engineers, and neuroscientists who transform complex neural signals into reliable, real-time control. Working closely with hardware, software, and clinical teams, we design and optimize machine-learning models that push the boundaries of neural decoding. We value rigorous experimentation, creative problem-solving, and open collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate predictive models using machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Implement and optimize signal processing techniques including filtering, Fourier/wavelet transforms, and feature extraction
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate machine learning models into real-time systems
- Contribute to the design and optimization of neural decoding methods
- Work with clinical teams to understand and address the needs of end-users
