About the role
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Senior AI Tech Architect to join our dynamic team at BCG Platinion. This role is based in multiple locations including Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Durham, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Summit, and Washington.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder groups and existing teams to inspire complex change and enable organizations to grow.
- Drive novel solutions by leveraging extensive IT expertise and navigating complex challenges.
- Guide organizations towards optimizing IT best practices and embracing agile methodologies.
- Apply creative problem-solving and IT architecture expertise to envision and implement next-generation technology solutions.
- Act as a resource on teams, providing both practical and theoretical insights into IT architecture.
- Work closely with senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives, to develop hypothesis-driven solutions that align with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 4+ years of technology consulting or software engineering experience with more than 1 year in IT or Business architecture discipline.
- Superior technical knowledge, engineering rigor, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex technology topics to senior executives effectively.
- Extensive technical expertise and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Cloud technologies, integration methodologies, structured and unstructured databases, data analytics, AI and GenAI architecture, application modernization, process automation, mainframe architecture, and Gen AI tool fluency.
- An agile mindset that enables iterative migration to modern architecture capabilities with a focus on business benefits.
- Willingness to travel to work with clients and BCG teams, including significant travel to client sites.

Pay
The first year base compensation for this role is $150,000 in USD. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus and BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution.
Schedule
This role involves significant travel to client sites, with the amount of travel depending on client needs and project requirements.
