BCBA - Program Development & Innovation Specialist - Hybrid
About the role
SenseSational Learning Group, a Finni Health Company, is a BCBA‑owned, neurodiversity‑affirming ABA practice that uses Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI) and play‑based, child‑led care. We lead with empathy, prioritize families, and foster a family‑friendly culture where many team members are parents. Your creativity and clinical judgment are valued here. The position is hybrid, with opportunities to work in Lansing, Okemos, Mason, Charlotte, and Eaton Rapids. You will help build the clinical resources system—designing protocols, curricula, and training materials—while maintaining a manageable caseload.
Responsibilities
- Carry a caseload of 25 billable hours/week, providing NDBI‑based services across home, school, and community settings (caseload expectations ease as development work ramps up over the first ~6 months).
- Design and refine clinical protocols, assessment tools, and program resources used company‑wide.
- Build training materials and structured pathways for BCBA and RBT clinical growth.
- Mentor and supervise individuals pursuing their BCBA/BCaBA credential, including supervised fieldwork hours.
- Partner with leadership to identify gaps in clinical resources and pilot solutions.
- Stay current on NDBI research and translate it into usable, practice‑ready tools for the team.
Requirements
- BCBA or BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
- Michigan state licensure.
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Qualifications
- A track record (or strong interest) for building curricula, training systems, or protocols—not just following them.
- Genuine interest in mentoring newer clinicians and BCBA/BCaBA candidates.
- Strong foundation in NDBI and natural environment teaching.
- Comfort holding both clinical caseload work and behind‑the‑scenes development work in the same week.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- 401(k) plan.
- Paid time off (PTO).
- Mileage reimbursement.
- Complimentary CEUs.
- Access to the collaborative Hub for team connection, meetings, and cross‑role programming.
- Continuous mentorship and professional development support.
- Technology that works for you: intuitive, in‑house platforms for scheduling, BIP writing, and time entry.
Pay
$85,000–$90,000 per year (BCBA). BCaBA positions are available with compensation that differs according to state guidelines.
Schedule
Flexible scheduling — full‑time and part‑time options available.
