About the role
The Program Manager is responsible for the development of treatment plans and clinical oversight of their assigned client caseload. They provide proper supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), analyze client data, adjust treatment plans and training materials as needed, and serve as a leader in the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements treatment plans for assigned clients
- Supervises and supports Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Analyzes client data and adjusts treatment plans and training materials as needed
- Serves as a leader in the clinic by attending meetings, providing additional training, delivering feedback, etc.
- Provides 5% supervision to RBTs on assigned team
- Completes RBT performance checklists as assigned
- Makes RBT continuing education or competency assessments as required
- Makes revisions to client assessments, treatment plans, behavior plans, and other protocols as needed
- Participates in and oversees data collection to improve outcomes, practices, and service delivery
- Provides immediate feedback to ABA therapists following observation and completion of performance checklists
- Maintains a caseload of 30 hours per week
- Maintains high authorization utilization of assigned caseload
- Responds to crises appropriately and assists others as necessary
Requirements
- Master’s Degree and BCBA
- Minimum 2 years’ previous experience with autism spectrum disorders required with a minimum of 18 months of autism experience in an ABA setting
- Minimum 1 year experience as a BCBA
- Indiana Behavior Analyst License
- Pass and maintain Critical Moments Training (CMT) Certification
- Pass and maintain CPR Certification
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record meeting eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
- Clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
Qualifications
- Ability to pass and maintain CMT Certification
- Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification
Skills
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and current research
- Effective time management
- Ability to remain knowledgeable of each assigned client’s ABA program and its progress
- Ability to respond to crises appropriately and assist others as necessary
