BCBA Behavior Analyst ABA Long Beach CA

Job Duties

• Conduct initial and on-going functional behavior assessments and skills assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including establishing measurable treatment goals, programs/procedures for implementation, and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide and supervise direct implementation of ABA-based intervention services in home, school, and community settings
• Conduct regular parent and staff training
• Collaborate with school staff and other professionals
• Analyze data to monitor progress, modify goals and procedures, and write progress reports
• Attend planning meetings with funding agencies and parents (e.g., IEPs, peer reviews)

Requirements

• Active BCBA certification in good standing required
• Well versed in ABA principles and procedures
• At least one year of experience developing, implementing, and monitoring ABA-based intervention services for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral disorders, across different settings and funding sources
• Capable of managing time independently, remaining organized, and meeting deadlines
• Effective oral and written communication
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be willing and able to drive to clients' homes, schools, clinic and other community settings
