Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features and improve existing functionality in Symfony applications.
• Fix bugs and implement updates swiftly while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to understand the purpose behind each task and the end user’s needs.
• Implement features and layouts that are intuitive and user-friendly without requiring design skills.
• Perform thorough testing of your work – there’s no dedicated QA team, so attention to detail is critical.
• Make architectural decisions to improve scalability and performance.
• Maintain quality checks, metrics, and monitoring (e.g., automated testing, error reporting, and performance monitoring tools).

Requirements

• Symfony Expertise: Proven experience building and maintaining applications in Symfony.
• Product Mindset: Ability to think like a product manager by considering the user’s needs and ensuring features are practical, intuitive, and well-placed.
• Front-End Implementation: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Angular (or similar frameworks) to build user-friendly layouts.
• Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of MySQL (or other RDBMS).
• Testing Skills: Ability to write tests in PHP (e.g., PHPUnit) and front-end testing (e.g., Jasmine).
• Version Control: Comfortable working with Git for version control and collaboration.
