Baylor Nursing Supervisor

About the role

Southbridge Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring a baylor weekend nursing supervisor for the 7a-7p shift. The position can be filled by an RN or LPN. The facility is a 144‑bed skilled nursing center. As the nursing supervisor, you will direct the total nursing care activities during each shift under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services to maintain the highest quality resident care.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state
• CPR certification
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a hospital, long‑term care facility, or related health‑care setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
• Participate in developing, updating, and communicating residents' care plans
• Assure staff implements care plans, performs care activities appropriately, and recognizes changes in resident status
• Maintain current resident care plans for all residents under your care
• Follow physician’s orders
• Render and/or assist with complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders
• Transcribe physician’s orders promptly and accurately
• Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness
• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
• Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list; conduct and document RN assessments as needed
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary
• Administer medication according to procedure if applicable
• Initiate any and all emergency procedures as necessary
• Conduct oversight of Charge Nurse and CNA performance

Pay

$40 to $50 per hour, depending on licensure. This rate includes the weekend shift differential.
