About the role

Bay State Physical Therapy is seeking a hybrid onsite/telehealth Physical Therapist to join our team. This role combines 2 days per week in one of our outpatient clinics with 3 days per week of remote telehealth visits. Candidates must be based in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive on-site and virtual physical therapy evaluations using evidence-based assessment, clinical reasoning, and outcome measures.
  • Develop clinically sound plans of care and communicate findings clearly to patients.
  • Document all evaluations accurately and within required timeframes in Raintree EMR.
  • Document a communication note for any evaluation not completed within the specified timeframe, including all scheduling attempts made.
  • For telehealth evaluations, help determine whether a patient is best served by a home exercise program or should proceed to a full evaluation.

Requirements

  • Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts.
  • 3-plus years of experience as a licensed physical therapist.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection sufficient to support uninterrupted video-based patient care.
  • Private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace.
  • Strong technology proficiency, comfortable with EMRs (Raintree), telehealth platforms, and adopting new digital tools.
  • Completion of Bay State Physical Therapy compliance training prior to patient care.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical excellence in a virtual care setting.
  • Prior telehealth or outpatient PT experience preferred but not required.
