Battery Production Technician
About the role
Imperia Batteries, a division of Physical Sciences Inc., is seeking full-time Battery Assembly Technicians to join their team at their Methuen, MA facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine Lithium-ion cell and battery assembly tasks.
- Work with hazardous materials, dry powder processes, stamping electrodes, preparing assembly components, soldering and welding.
- Gain experience in lithium-ion cell manufacturing.
- Be detail-oriented and follow standard operating procedures for materials handling and preparation.
- Operate with hands-on skills including weighing, cleaning equipment, processing, and performing assembly tasks.
- Use comfortable hand tools and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Track components/inventory during production activities and record relevant information in production logs.
- Work in a dry room environment.
- Show working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Have strong English communication, reading, and comprehension skills to follow safety procedures, production instructions, and documentation requirements.
- Experience with soldering or ultrasonic welding is a plus.
- Experience with full face respirators is a plus.
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Qualifications

Skills

Benefits
The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $57K–$62K. The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, and specialized skills.
