About the role

Crown Equipment Corporation, one of the world's largest lift truck manufacturers, is seeking knowledgeable customer focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team. We offer local support on a global scale with more than 15 manufacturing facilities worldwide and more than 500 retail locations in over 80 countries.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers
• Maintain a service van and its inventory
• Process paperwork after completion of each job

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred qualifications

• Technical degree
• Previous battery and charger repair experience
• Welding skills
• Knowledge of various types of testing equipment
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Good written/verbal communication skills
• Good customer care skills

Pay and schedule

• No flat rate
• 40 hours per week plus overtime
• Primarily 1st shift
