Batch Operator Level 2 (3rd shift)

About the role

The Batch Operator position is available in our Construction plant based in Columbus, Ohio. Franklin International, founded in 1935, is a leading manufacturer of adhesives and sealants, operating globally with a focus on quality and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and control systems in weighing, metering, and mixing raw materials to make consistent batches
• Follow batch sheets and quality standards to meet customer requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
• Chemical processing/batch experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 55 pounds on a regular basis
• Standing 50-100% of the time
• Must be able to wear a respirator while performing this job
• Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including head, eye, ear and foot protection 90-100% of the time
• Shift: 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am)

Pay

$25.79 per hour per hour plus $1.20 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift

Schedule

Shift: 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am)

Training

Initial training will occur during 1st shift which is 7:00am - 3:15pm. Occasional overtime may be required.
