Batch Operator, 2nd shift + $1.00/hr premium

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions precisely, including ingredient sequencing and raw material codes, to ensure consistent product quality
• Weigh, measure, and manually load ingredients into mixers according to specifications; take samples, coordinate with Quality Control, and make adjustments as needed
• Operate mixing and blending equipment for cement, grout, mastic, and cleaning products; monitor automated systems when required
• Maintain accurate production records, including batch logs, maintenance reports, calibration records, and shift handoff documentation
• Assist with packaging and material handling as needed to support production flow
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA requirements, actively participating in safety training and reporting or correcting unsafe conditions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• Great work ethic and impeccable attendance
• Solid previous work experience required
• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions
• Experience operating automated equipment in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Experience operating a forklift (not required)
• Ability to wear a respirator and all required PPE's
• Must be clean-shaven in accordance with OSHA respirator requirements
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour, with additional $1.00/hr. shift premium for second shift work

Schedule

Second shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, with overtime as needed
