Batch Maker/Compounder/Mixer
Duties & Responsibilities
- Stages and manually charges necessary raw materials into mixing container.
- Follows batch work instructions to manufacture quality products.
- Maintains and controls mixing equipment and other instruments to ensure batches are produced according to work instructions.
- Adjusts batches under Quality Control guidance until they are approved.
- Works with Supervisor to improve manufacturing schedules and address any concerns.
- Cleans up the work area to meet company standards.
- Ensures the work area is safe, clean, and hazard-free, reporting spills or other hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Complies with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
Requirements
- Basic math skills.
- Operates high-speed dispersers and other handling equipment.
- Able to read and comprehend English.
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
- Reads digital scales.
- Chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.
Information & Compensation & Benefits
Schedule: 1st Shift 5:00 am - 2:30 pm M-F
Pay: Starting hourly rate of $21.00 per hour.
Bonus Pay: Up to $1,520 annually, paid quarterly.

About the Role
The batch makers are responsible for mixing raw chemical materials to create products, following batch work instructions, monitoring and controlling mixing equipment, and ensuring the work area is safe and clean.
