Batch Maker/Compounder/Mixer - 2nd Shift

Duties & Responsibilities

• Stages and manually charges necessary raw materials into mixing container.
• Follows batch work instructions to manufacture quality products.
• Maintains and controls mixing equipment and other instruments to ensure batches are produced according to work instructions.
• Adjusts batches under Quality Control (QC) guidance until they are approved.
• Works with Supervisor to improve manufacturing schedules and address any potential issues.
• Cleans up work area to company standards.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean, and hazard-free, reporting spills or other hazards immediately to supervisors or safety personnel.
• Complies with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.

Required Skills

• Basic math skills.
• Operates high-speed dispersers and other handling equipment.
• Able to read and comprehend English.
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
• Reads digital scales.
• Chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.

Information & Compensation & Benefits

• Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:20 pm-11:50 pm M-F
• Pay: Starting hourly rate of $21.00 per hour, plus a $0.75 per hour shift differential. The range represents the expected hourly range for this position.
• Bonus Pay: Meridian is participating in a productivity incentive plan for 2026. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 annually, with payments distributed quarterly.
