Basketball: Girls JV Assistant Coach

Responsibilities

Organize, coordinate, and promote a comprehensive program designed to meet the needs and interests of the school community. Stress the importance of academic achievement. Demonstrate a high degree of ethics, professionalism, and human relations, and serve as a positive role model for all students.

Requirements

• 3‑5 years of previous coaching experience; head coach experience preferred.
• Hold or be eligible for First Aid, AED, and CPR certification.
• Complete the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Coaches Education Requirements within VHSL‑set timelines.
• Sensory skills to communicate and interact via telephone and personal contact (ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls).
• Capability to use office equipment such as personal computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, projection and video devices.
• Ability to engage in significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, or repetitive motions.
