About the role
The Basketball Coach will be responsible for leading and developing boys in Grade 5 at Roanoke Elementary within Huntington County Community Schools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement basketball programs that meet the needs of the students
- Work closely with teachers to integrate basketball skills into the curriculum
- Ensure safety and proper conduct during all practices and games
- Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to maintain high standards of coaching
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the elementary level
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of basketball rules and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities

Pay
