About the Role
Join our team at the YMCA as a Basketball Coach and positively impact the community through athletics. Help children reach their potential, enact age-appropriate goals, and change lives in our Y community.
Responsibilities
- Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming, including stretch & warmup, activities, and games for the respective sport.
- Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for the respective sport.
- Provide a safe and clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
- Lead classes with positivity and enthusiasm.
- Provide excellent service to members and participants.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age.
- Excellent knowledge of instructing in basketball, soccer, football, and other program areas.
- Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention.
- Availability during mornings, nights, and/or weekends.
