About the role
The successful candidate will be employed as a teacher and licensed as an Athletic Coach by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
Responsibilities
- Teach and coach students in accordance with district curriculum and standards.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and district educational goals.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve academic performance.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance teaching methods and support student learning.
- Participate in coaching activities to develop athletic skills and promote team spirit.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teaching license and coaching certification from the New Mexico Public Education Department.
- Experience working with students in a K-12 setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred, but not required.
- At least three years of teaching/coaching experience.
- Pass an FBI background check.
Skills
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
